Window Supply Company announces debut at Scotland’s Housing Festival

West Lothian based window and door manufacturers Window Supply Company (WSC) will exhibit at Scotland’s Housing Festival, showcasing a unique range of products and services to support local authorities and housing associations work towards achieving Net Zero across Scotland’s social housing stock.

The Chartered Institute of Housing brings together housing professionals from across Scotland and the UK to Scotland’s Housing Festival on the 4th and 5th of March. Held over 2 days at the EICC in Edinburgh, the event is a must-attend event for local authorities, housing associations, housebuilders, developers, suppliers, and government to network and discuss best practice and innovation within the sector.

WSC will be exhibiting at Stand 40 in the Lennox Suite, displaying the new ZeroI90 range of uPVC windows and doors. A full window and door system proven to provide unmatched performance in energy saving, noise reduction and sustainability. The suite contains the UK’s first Passivhaus certified uPVC casement and tilt & turn windows leading to a reduction in carbon in the construction of homes and buildings. Assuring local authorities and housing associations that WSC can deliver the solutions to meet the energy saving and sustainability requirements of today’s housing stock.

WSC invites visitors to their stand to get hands-on with the ZeroI90 system using their custom built thermal and acoustic booths. The booths allow visitors to test the thermal and acoustic properties of ZeroI90 windows. At the heart of the Zero|90 system lies its exceptional thermal efficiency. Achieving a U-Value of just 0.66 W/m²K, ZeroI90 windows and doors minimise heat loss and maximise insulation. Resulting in reduced energy consumption and lower heating costs for residents.

With more homes than ever being built in urban locations, noise is an increasingly crucial factor when choosing windows and doors. In comparison with standard uPVC windows and doors, the ZeroI90 system has been proven to block up to twice as much external noise, reducing noise levels by up to 42 decibels.

Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to get hands on with QR coded windows and doors. Custom developed technology which allows organisations to provide active and responsive care for assets. From the point of installation throughout the entire product lifecycle. A unique QR code label is fitted to every window and door frame, simply scanning the QR code provides instant access to all window and door product information, reducing labour and maintenance costs for organisations.

Barry Duncan, Managing Director WSC says “We are thrilled to present the ZeroI90 range of windows and doors at Scotland’s Housing Festival which represent a significant leap forward in reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption. The Zero|90 system can help organisations contribute to a greener and more sustainable future, helping everyone on the journey to Net Zero.”
