Window Supply Company partners with Emmegi (UK) to enhance customer offering

Scotland based windows and doors manufacturer Window Supply Company (WSC) invest in Emmegi machinery package to optimise product portfolio, capitalising on increasing market demand for high end window and door products.

With demand for aluminium windows and doors continuing to rise, Window Supply Company invests in Emmegi Phantomatic M4 machining centre, double mitre saw, corner crimping machine and bead saw to the value of over £260K. This most recent investment in aluminium machinery reflects the company’s commitment to delivering a diverse range of window and door products to support trade customers throughout the UK.

The addition of the Emmegi machinery package adds another dimension to WSC’s manufacturing expertise. The company’s 105,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Whitburn, West Lothian houses 4 Supercut6 machining centres with current capacity at 1600 uPVC frames per week. The new machinery allows the firm to manufacture aluminium bifold and patio doors to meet growing demand for aluminium products.

Martin Linden, WSC’s Chief Operating officer says: ‘I met with Ian Latimer and the Emmegi (UK) team at the FIT Show in Birmingham in 2023 and was impressed by their ability to offer a complete machinery package to suit our ambitious plans in aluminium. From our discussions it was clear that Emmegi (UK) had both the experience and the resources to support WSC. I look forward to working in partnership with Emmegi to support our continued growth.’

Ian Latimer, Managing Director Emmegi UK says: ‘WSC is a great example of how we can support a fabricator who is looking to get started in aluminium with a package of complementary machines. Machines like the Phantomatic M4 and Precision TS2 pair together perfectly and, with the addition of an automatic bead saw and Itaca Solution crimper, WSC now has both the capacity and the capability to make the most of the ongoing opportunities in aluminium.

“It also shows how the FIT Show continues to be a great place for fabricators to view machinery options and compare suppliers side by side.”

Duncan Murray, CEO says: ‘We will continue to invest in cutting-edge machinery to offer a compelling range of products to support trade customers across the UK. This latest investment provides a valuable enhancement to our product portfolio.’
